This is an excellent commentary on Moed Katan. Rav Bloch makes judicious use of modern Talmudic scholarship to arrive at the most logical text. His comparisons between the sugiah in Yerushalmi and the Bavli are excellent. His explanations of the historical background of the sugia are very good. In contrast his agricultural explanations are pedestrian and devoid of novel explanations
